Setting the standards for excellence in forensic nursing

ABFNAbout ABFN

Forensic nurses provide complete care in a variety of settings: at the scene of a crime, in an emergency room or clinic, or in a court of law. Forensic nurses work with patients who are involved in the criminal justice system, including alleged and convicted criminals or alleged victims of crime. Individuals in the ever-evolving specialty of forensic nursing provide care to victims of crime, collect evidence, consult on cases, testify in court, and provide health care services within the prison system.
